Juliana, in every other way is as normal as any other five year old girl, except that she may have an intelligence level that is even higher than average.
“Juliana will eventually make her own decisions about continuing on with surgeries. At this point we are not doing cosmetic surgery. We are doing surgeries which will enable her to function without a trach or feeding tube. Our ultimate goal for Juliana is for her to be happy with who she is. She will be able to achieve any goal which she sets for herself or any obstacles put before her. We have no doubt that she can achieve this because she is so incredibly intelligent.”
Her parents, Thom and Tami Wetmore, have goals and dreams for their daughter. One of their hopes is that the surgeons will eventually be able to configure her jaw in a way that her tongue will be inside her mouth.
Little Juliana’s courage and that of her family is well worth sharing with your children when you are counting your blessings together.

i dont think its right that people would make fun of a girl like that. looks dont matter, and thats just horrible if anyone thinks they do. god wanted her to be like that, so that is a great thing. GOD BLESS HER!
im trying to contact the wetmores to see if i can set up a fundraiser at my high school, but i cant find an email. help?
I hate God so much right now. Any god that willfully makes its creation like that is a devil.
But still, I’m pulling for the girl, and I am glad she made such tremendous progress.
Poor little Juliana. I find it awful when people call her ugly or a mutant, as I’ve read people call her. Imagine how they’d feel if they had the syndrome and they were called that, or laughed at, how would they feel then?! I’m not sure if she lives in my town, but there is a little girl that I’ve seen twice that has the same syndrome. I was looking at some snacks in the supermarket, and she wanted what I was holding (the last one there was). I asked her mom and gave it to her. It was the least i could do. I felt really happy when she smiled after. She was very sweet and cute.
uhmm!im deeply sadden when i saw the story of juliana on the discovery channel.infact i dont know what exactly to say because im still very sad.God bless her and her family too.be strong.
