This is the best way to get ink out of fabrics. The following should be done as quickly as possible so the ink doesn’t set.
Using a can of basic hairspray (not with any ‘extras’ added), spray directly onto ink stain, soaking the fabric. With two paper towels folded in quarters for thickness, place one on the inside and one on the outside of the fabric. Blot stain, pressing hard. The ink will come out onto the paper towels. Keep repeating, refolding the paper towels until ink is nearly or completely gone. Spray fabric one last time and put directly into wash. Wash garment as usual.
You can try this on ‘dry-clean only’ fabrics, such as wool or other ‘texture’ fabrics but not with silk or satin or other ’smooth’ dry-cleanables as it will leave a ‘ring’.

I just tried it and it worked like a charm! Thanks Mom!
I’m glad it worked for you!
Not that I’m impressed a lot, but this is more than I expected for when I stumpled upon a link on Digg telling that the info is quite decent. Thanks.
Hey, cool tips. Perhaps I’ll buy a bottle of beer to the person from that forum who told me to visit your site
